I don’t think you are ever too old. People gradute from college at 77, people earn doctorates that late. Most community college vocational or business students are older students. In fact, most college faculty members like older students because they typically are more motivated to learn, understand why they are in college, and have the life experience to put what they learn into some perspective. There are lots of options for older learners, as well.

Check with your local community college, they will have lots of information and opportunities for more training or education.

Here is an example of what many colleges and universities are offering for adult students:

Best wishes and go for it!!

i say never, as long as u have the will and the means to pay for it, go for it

Don’t know about you but when I retire at 66 I am going back to school. Some colleges pay for the classes if you are over 65 an that is what I am looking at.

Its never too late. just do it.

Never – my mom got her college degree when she was in her 40s. And my dad wants to go back in his retirement to get a PhD so he can teach on the side. A good way to keep your mind young is to teach it something new.

When you think your too old, because if you don’t believe you can do it, you won’t.I was in a Building Construction program, and I was 18 yrs. and the oldest person in the program was 65yrs. It was great having such a range.

    you are never to old!

You are never too old. You have the benefit of experience, and that will help you in whatever you do. But don’t put it off. You didn’t give any clues as to how old you are. If college is something you are thinking about for career development, jump into it as soon as possible. If you’ve been out of school for awhile, the transition can be a little rough, but work through it and it will be worth it.
